      THE NEW SCHOOL YEAR 2007-08

The Lower School years at THA are perhaps the most important. These are the years of open curiosity and unbridled enthusiasm and are known as the formative years - academically and socially. The faculty stresses, in a nurturing way, all of the areas that will cause THA Lower School students to mature academically and socially so they will be functioning adults in the future.

Each student is expected to be honest and courteous, to show respect for the rights, property, and opinions of others, and generally to conduct himself as a gentleman or herself as a lady. This often means going beyond a simple commitment to abide by stated rules in the student handbook.

Our main goals in the Lower School are to produce academically well prepared students that love to learn, will accept a challenge at a high level, and will solve problems while taking a risk in order to learn about themselves and their subjects.

Lower School Administrator
