At Thomas Heyward Academy, we believe that a strong foundation is the key to lifelong learning. Our Lower School provides an enriching environment where small class sizes ensure personalized attention for each student.  Our curriculum offers a workshop model for reading with tailored support, phonics lessons, handwriting practice, engaging problem-solving activities through Everyday Math, hands-on science exploration, writing development, and interdisciplinary social studies projects.
