Arts

Thomas Heyward Academy's Arts offers a complete visual and performing arts curriculum for prekindergarten to 12th-grade students. By instilling a sense of creative exploration at a young age, THA students can discover new interests through different visual and performing arts classes and programs. Our expert faculty guide students to develop and showcase their talents in fields such as performing arts, music, visual arts, and media.

Music

Beginning in PreK-1st, students are immersed in musicianship through singing, listening, dancing, improvising, analyzing, and creating music. Starting in second grade through high school, students participate and develop in learning rhythms, reading music and introduction to various instruments.
