Athletics at a Glance

Facilities include hard surface gymnasium, a baseball field, softball field, cross country trail, stadium for football and  a 2100 sq. ft. weight room. 

There are 22 athletic teams over 12 sports offered at Thomas Heyward Academy.

Over 84 percent of Upper and Middle School students participate in an athletic offering

Thomas Heyward Academy is a member of SCISA Class A (football) and class AA (cross country, volleyball, basketball, wrestling, baseball, softball, clay target and golf).

Decorated program with 43 state titles, 55 region titles, and 24 State Runner-Up titles

Since 2016, 21 student athletes have moved on to further their athletic and academic careers at the college level in all levels, NAIA, NCAA DIII, DII and DI.
