As a proud graduate of Thomas Heyward Academy, it’s an incredible honor to return home and serve as your new Athletic Director. THA athletics helped shape me into who I am today, and I’m passionate about continuing our strong tradition while also growing new opportunities for our student-athletes.

Our Rebel athletes continue to make history — from the inaugural track team earning state medals in its very first season to our Clay Target seniors securing dual state trap championships. These accomplishments are a testament to our students’ work ethic, our coaches’ leadership, and the incredible support of our THA community.

At Thomas Heyward Academy, we believe athletics are more than just competition. They build character — teaching teamwork, discipline, resilience, and leadership. We hold our student-athletes and coaches to high standards of sportsmanship and integrity, and we invite our fans and families to model those same values in the stands.

I want to thank our parents, alumni, and Booster Club for your unwavering energy and support. We encourage everyone to get involved — whether through the Booster Club, volunteering, or simply cheering us on throughout the year. Together, we can give every Rebel athlete the best possible experience, both on and off the field.
