Thomas Heyward Academy proudly celebrated National Signing Day on Wednesday, February 4, honoring seniors Josh Gibson and Tony O’Banner as they officially signed to continue their football careers at Presbyterian College.

Thomas Heyward Academy’s athletic program continues to reach new milestones as our brand-new track & field team wraps up an incredible first season! After stepping onto the track for the very first time on March 26, 2025, at Porter-Gaud in Charleston, SC, our student-athletes have shown tremendous heart, growth, and competitive spirit.
We are proud to announce that five of our runners have exceeded qualifying standards for the SCISA Track & Field State Finals, which will be held on May 2, 2025, at Orangeburg Prep!

At Thomas Heyward Academy, tradition is at the heart of our school culture—and one of the most cherished events each year is the Senior Tea, held in honor of the young ladies of the senior class. This graceful tradition, steeped in Southern charm and elegance, was joyfully celebrated this year on April 6th at the beautiful Cotton Hall Plantation in Yemassee, SC.
The Senior Tea offers a special moment to pause and reflect, recognizing the journey of these remarkable young women as they prepare to graduate and step into the next exciting chapter of their lives. Dressed in their finest, the senior girls gathered for an afternoon of fellowship, refreshments, and heartfelt conversation.
