Football

Thomas Heyward Academy offers Middle School and Varsity Football.  Our Middle School Rebels consists of students in grades 6, 7, and 8.   Students in grades 9 through 12 can participate on our Varsity Team.  
Over the years, our Rebel Football Team has brought many trophies to add to our collection.

State Champs: 1971, 1973, 1977,1978, 1979, 1980, 1981, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021

State Runner-Up: 1976, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1992, 2012

Please have your child's physical and athletic contract with the fee to 
Coach Boni by the first practice, you can bring them to back to school bash as well.

The 1st practice will be August 13th 3-4:30 pm followed by a parent meeting at 5pm.
Parents are responsible for: mouth piece, football practice jersey, football cleats, and practice pants optional but suggested. The school will supply helmets, shoulder pads, game jerseys and pants.
