Honors

Thomas Heyward Academy's core values align with the mission of the National Beta Club.  We promote hard work, leadership and responsibility.  
THA students can participate in Junior Beta (grades 4-8) and Senior Beta (grades 9-12).  Beta Club is a high honor for students that "adhere to the Beta mission and learn to embrace and embody its four pillars."

THA also recognizes Duke Tip students. The Duke University Talent Identification Program is a nonprofit organization that supports academically talented students in grades four through twelve.
