Thomas Heyward Academy's PTO is an organization that strives to promote collaboration, participation, and support among parents, faculty, students, and administration through service, combined effort, and guidance. Funds collected by the PTO, are used for special school projects and budgetary support.
PTO is responsible for several of the fundraisers during the year including cookie dough and chocolate bars. PTO shows appreciation to our staff during Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week during the first week of May by providing delicious meals and snacks for our staff to enjoy!
PTO meetings are held at least twice during the school year.
