Clay Target

Thomas Heyward Academy's clay target teams are the best in the state.  With the last 2 years winning a state championship title and having several shooters traveling out of state to shoot.

Students in grades 6th - 12th can participate. All shooters must take the South Carolina Hunters Safety Course. All shooters must be able to handle a shotgun safely, be coachable, practice regularly, and be able to shoot 100 clay targets to compete in an event.
